 No. We do not perform credit checks. Our approval is based on your driver’s license and ability to meet basic eligibility criteria. 

You’ll need:

• A valid Maryland driver’s license
   
• Proof of active registration with Uber, Lyft, or another delivery platform
   
• A few personal references
   
• Payment information for weekly billing

Payments start at $350.00 per week, depending on the vehicle model and lease plan. Contact us to learn about available options. 

 NO. However, if you are on a daily fee plan, you must pay your daily by Midnight of each day. If you are on a Weekly Plan you must pay your weekly fee by the Midnight on Monday of the week you start and each Monday thereafter

•  Q: Do you provide insurance?
  You must provide your own insurance and list AK & Sons as the lienholder. We’ll guide you through setting this up if needed. 
• We can help you obtain insurance and finance the monthly payments.

We cover routine maintenance. You are responsible for any damage resulting from misuse, accidents, or neglect. Major repairs are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. 

 Q: How long is the lease term?
The minimum lease term is 6 months. After that, you can continue leasing or switch to a Lease-to-Own option. 

Yes! Many of our drivers transition to our Lease-to-Own Program, which allows them to purchase the vehicle after making a set number of weekly payments. 

You can return the vehicle early; however, fees may apply, depending on your contract. We’ll review each case and work with you whenever possible. 

 We understand life happens. Communication is key — let us know in advance and we’ll work with you. Consistent missed payments may result in the repossession of your property.
